IRCEB (1999-2003)
This project, “Biological Stoichiometry from Genes to Ecosystems”, was funded by NSF’s Integrated Research Challenges in Environmental Biology program and involved 8 PIs from four universities (ASU, U of A, U of Oklahoma, U of Minnesota). Its primary goal was to test the Growth Rate Hypothesis in multiple taxa by measuring growth rate, RNA contents, rDNA genes, and C:N:P stoichiometry in various organisms from both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. More information, including most of the papers published from the project, can be found by following this link:IRCEB Publications.
